Jazz vocalist, Lyn Stanley, does it again with her sultry, smooth vocals and incredible band. This time she has updated 100 year old songs and made them anew with the help of her super-talented band with Mike Garson (p), Chuck Bergerhofer (b), John Chiodini (ex), Aaron Serfaty (d), Luis Conte (p) and soloists Hendrik Meurkens (harmonica) and Rickey Woodard (tenor sax). The acoustics go without saying as Lyn Stanley is the artist guru of sound and works with the best studios and engineers in the business--this time--The Village for the recording sessions and Sunset Sound for the mixing, with Allen Sides at the helm. Maestro Mastering Engineer, Bernie Grundman created another masterpiece for this analog mastered original album mixed to analog 1/4 inch 30ips tape. Lyn hired RTI to press her two One Steps for this 45 rpm, 180g critically acclaimed album that's sure to make audiophile jazz vocal enthusiasts praise the sound and the music.
