Amazing sounding near-field monitors. Those are very rare high-end monitors. Inspected by SEPEA audio
After the introduction of the studio directional loudspeaker O 92 as a reference monitoring loudspeaker by ARD and ZDF, the demand for a direct-current loudspeaker with reduced dimensions, which in its electroacoustic properties largely corresponds to the O 92, arose. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the O 96 is ideally suited for demanding applications in smaller listening rooms. The studio monitor O 96 is a 3-way active loudspeaker with an electronic crossover and an integrated 3-channel power amplifier (continuous sound power 60 - 60 - 60 watts). The loudspeaker systems are installed in the housing of 52.5 cm high, 31.5 cm wide and 29 cm deep in the symmetry axis of the baffle.
A conical loudspeaker with a diameter of 250 mm was used for the low-frequency range, while spherical systems with a diameter of 50 and 19 mm were used in the mid- and high-frequency ranges. A 4-stage setup equalizer allows you to adjust the frequency response in the low-frequency range.
