I wanted to connect, around the title Forte Fortissimo, pieces of music with a common denominator: strong emotions, contradictions, passions, grandeur, exaggeration, dynamism, virility. Pieces that will enter you straight into your soul, pure adrenaline that will charge you in unison. A crescendo of energy that only great music can give us. I recorded each song in a different location each time: a basilica, a castle, a cathedral, a parish church, a chapel, another cathedral, an auditorium, a music hall, a twentieth-century theater, a modern church, a nineteenth-century theater, another nineteenth-century theater, a historic building.
So many historic places, so many acoustics, so many emotions [Giulio Cesare Ricci]
