Irish guitarist Gary Moore had great international success with Still Got The Blues. Two influential blues musicians, Albert King and Albert Collins, played alongside him. Ex-Beatle George Harrison also contributed a track.
Hong Kong is a very special market for audiophile music lovers. Universal Music's Hong Kong office recognised this and had some of Ball Au's popular tracks remixed at Hong Kong's Sound Max Studios. The mastering has clearly been done with the audiophile in mind and is often very different from previous productions. Naturally, both the PCM and DSD tracks benefit from the improved sound. The Hybrid SACDs themselves are manufactured in Japan.
