The Doors: Infinite - Hybrid Multichannel SACD, Deluxe Edition, Remastered

Box set of six multi-channel hybrid SACDs by The Doors.

In addition to the tracks, which are also available individually, the box contains a large-format booklet. The set is presented in a decorative box and is sure to make the heart of any audiophile collector beat faster. 

The box set is limited to 2,500 copies and comes with a consecutive serial number.

The remastering from the original analogue tapes (except for The Doors, where the best possible copy of the originals was used) was done by Doug Sax, assisted by Bruce Botnick, the Doors' producer and engineer. The original masters were compiled on a tape machine with a tube input stage, and a machine with a tube output stage was also used to play back the tapes to be remastered. The surround sound is based on the 96k/24bit files that Botnick mixed and mastered from the original analogue masters for the PERCEPTION audio DVD release. The SACDs were resampled to DSD (without filters) using a Weiss Saracon converter. Finally, Gus Skinas of Super Audio Center did the pre-production.
