This debut solo album is a selection of improvisations on standards and original compositions. The repertoire ranges from Body and Soul to Over the Rainbow, Thelonious Monk and Bill Evans to originals. The role and presence of producer Giulio Cesare Ricci in this selection of recordings was as important as having a second musician in a duet. This not only applies to the incredible rendition of the sound of the instrument and the location, but also to the creative environment he creates during the days of recording and his emotional connection to each tune.
