Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here

Reissue of the ninth studio album by English rock band, Pink Floyd. Originally released in 1976, the title track is definitely one of their most recognized songs and the album is considered by fans and many critics as Pink Floyd's 'magnus opus'.

Just as good as 1975, if not a bit better

Posted by Robbert on 18th May 2022

I've had my dad's 1975 pressing on loan, for a few months now. This re-master was done by the same people as my "Dark Side" re-master. This is just spot on! Things sound right. Maybe a bit more refined than 1975, but so good. I was a bit saddened when I ordered it, as it did not appear to have the original jacket. The actual jacket was behind not one, but two plastic envelopes! So I have something that sounds just as good as the 1975 release, and looks the same (although the labels on the actual vinyl are purple instead of light blue). Oh, and there's a postcard inside!
