The recordings are now available in unprecedented sound quality. The original analogue recordings from 1972 form the basis of Christoph Stickel's unobtrusive "refurbishing" which aims to avoid any artistic intervention. You, the valued listener, will be transported back into the sound engineer's chair at the time of recording.

Especially for those who love the traditional, older holiday music
Only one listen so far, and I can tell there are going to be a LOT of incredible nuances to this production. There is no question this will get plenty of play this season and for all seasons to come. The voices are incredible, the overall production is just awesome. A great addition to my Conniff, Manhattan Transfer, Vince Guaraldi, Mitch Miller, Sinatra, Hollyridge Strings, and my jazz and swing Xmas stuff, etc collection, which is getting substantial at this point. This album will very likely be in the top 10 in my collection.

One of the most amazing vocal groups of all time
This is the follow-up group to the Hi-los, with two of the original members of that group. A beautifully arranged and sung group of both familiar and lesser known Christmas songs.

A Most Beautiful Christmas Album
If you follow vocal groups you know the nucleus of Singers Unlimited came from the Hi Los, an amazing four male vocal group popular in the sixties and seventies. Singers Unlimited added a fifth voice--Bonnie Baker--a brilliant lead singer. This is my family's favorite Christmas music. If you enter any of my daughters' homes during the Christmas holidays this will most likely be playing. The group is emotional without being cloying. it sings perfectly in tune and breathes together as one through phrases. The chord voicings chosen by musical director/singer Gene Sperling are fresh and in perfect taste. This is a perfect!
