World-renowned violinist Sayaka Shoji's first new work in four years is a full-length Mozart with pianist Gianluca Cascioli as her partner. Cascioli played the fortepiano, as was the case when the work was created, and Shoji used gut strings and a baroque bow. The excellent sound recorded in an old church in Mondovi, Italy, is also attractive.
