After the release of the first part of the legendary studio session, which was released on 20. June 1968 was recorded by MPS label owner Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer and sound engineer Joachim-Ernst Brendt in the Black Forest, follows the most anticipated second part. Five days before this recording, Evans played his acclaimed, gram-winning performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in a trio with bassist Gomez and drummer DeJohnette. And even when working on the reissue, as is customary with the 2xHD label, real experts were at work: René Laflamme and Bernie Grundman.
