A must have if you're a lover of great Jazz
The names of the personnel on the front of the sleeve should be enough to make you buy it! Great sound, moody, spacious tracks with a wide variety of themes. Pat Metheny shows his song writing strengths and his vast knowledge of Jazz composition - even at a young age. I bought the Vinyl and the sound is superb - lots of space around the instruments - super production and the musicians are on top form, obviously bouncing off one another to produce a great performance. Well recommended.

All time classic...!
Bought this in vinyl form when it was originally released and have had the CD since the '80s. This is an all time Metheny classic, still in his youth and pushing the musical envelope. The songs are varied,ranging from swing to acoustic guitar. This variation makes it enduring. "Two Folk Songs" is incredible,harkening back to pre-electric days. "Open" is a free-for-all classic, and "Every Day(I Thank You) is one the most melodic songs ever recorded
