Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP for short) was an English rock supergroup. In the 1970s, it was very popular, selling 40 million albums and giving great concerts. The group consisted of members Keith Emerson (keyboards), Greg Lake (vocals, bass, guitars, accordion, producer) and Carl Palmer (drums, percussion). This rock trio, founded in 1970, has taken over some works of European classical music and can be included among the representatives of progressive and symphonic rock.
