"Two composers, masters of Impressionism, tackle the repertoire for violin and piano: Claude Debussy with his late Sonata No. 3 and several transcriptions of famous piano pieces; Maurice Ravel with his youthful, brief Sonata No. 1, along with other tributes to virtuoso violinist friends."

"Recording made in Milan in the Sala dell'Ermellino, recently built next to
Leonardo's Vineyard, a stone's throw from Leonardo's Last Supper.
The perfect acoustics, curated by Andrea Farnetani, and the design by architect Elena Borghi have made
this house of music unique, right where Leonardo da Vinci held his workshop, near the
Duomo, where the great Flemish maestro Josquin Desprez trained the young choristers."
