The master was created with the Ampex ATR 102 (Electronic Tube Ampex Model 351 - 1965) 2-track, 1/2" record player, modified by David Manley.
The mastering was carried out by Giulio Cesare Ricci using the entirely analog, tube-based Signoricci system.
For about 20 years, in parallel with his Fonè record production, Giulio Cesare Ricci has been organizing events dedicated to high fidelity in Italy. In various cities—Milan, Rome, Turin, Padua, Florence—he selects prestigious hotels to host these events.
These are the Gran Galas of High Fidelity, where the best hi-fi systems distributed in Italy are presented to the enthusiast public.
For this album, Giulio Cesare Ricci selected some of the most audiophile-friendly tracks in the Fonè catalog. He thus created a reference album for enthusiasts, which he called GRAN. GALA'.
