This album continues Giulio Cesare Ricci's collaboration with the great conductor Gianandrea Noseda and the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Torino.
After the Suite Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade Symphony and Gustav Mahler's Second Symphony, now it's time for Mahler's Ninth Symphony.
For this recording, Giulio Cesare Ricci used the legendary original Neumann U47, U48, and M49 tube microphones.
Recorded in DSD Stereo on Pyramix using dCS A/D and D/A converters.
This is a live recording that preserves all the naturalness, dynamics, and realism of the performance.
A recording made in the natural acoustics of the Teatro Regio in Turin, without sound manipulation, equalization, reverb, compression, or expansion...but a natural sound with authentic timbre.
