With sincere gratitude to Dori Ghezzi

This live recording is part of the recordings I made for the concerts at the 2021 Piaggio Music Festival. This album continues the extraordinary artistic collaboration between Musica Nuda (Petra Magoni, vocals, Ferruccio Spinetti, double bass) and fonè Records, which has culminated in the release of numerous internationally acclaimed vinyl records over the years. Musica Nuda features songs by the great Italian singer-songwriter De André, a performance not to be missed! I made this recording at the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera, where Piaggio was founded and where it continues to produce today. Every year, inside the Museum, audiences from around the world can admire Piaggio's production over the years, including all the Vespa and Ape models, and all the Aprilia, Gilera, and Moto Guzzi motorcycles that have won national and international awards over the years. I brought all my equipment for this recording. Both analog (Ampex ATR 102 Electronic Tube Ampex Model 351-1965 2 tracks, 1/2 inch, 30fps modified by David Manley) and digital (Pyramix Recorder, dCS A/D and D/A converters). This is because I have always created two masters for each recording: an analog master for vinyl and a DSD digital master for SuperAudioCD. I mastered the vinyl using the Signoricci system, an entirely analog, tube-based system. A state-of-the-art system with no sound manipulation, equalization, reverb, compression, or expansion... but a natural sound and authentic timbre to best enhance the acoustics of the Piaggio Museum Auditorium. For nearly 40 years, fonè has been offering recordings crafted with technological sophistication and aimed at recovering the original musical atmosphere. An album not to be missed.
