A portrait of Pablo de Sarasate, a celebrated violin virtuoso of the second half of the 19th century: a monographic collection of his music for violin and piano. Postcards from an exotic Spain, with enchanting melodies and French charm.
Recording made in Milan in the Sala dell'Ermellino, recently built next to Leonardo's Vineyard, a stone's throw from Leonardo's Last Supper. The perfect acoustics, curated by Andrea Farnetani, and the design by architect Elena Borghi have made this house of music unique, right where Leonardo da Vinci held his workshop, near the Duomo, where the great Flemish maestro Josquin Desprez trained the young choristers.

The master was made with the Ampex ATR 102 (Electronic Tube Ampex Model 351 - 1965) 2 tracks, 1/2 inch 30fps modified by David Manley.
The vinyl mastering was done by Giulio Cesare Ricci using the all-analog, tube-based Signoricci system.
