Conceived, recorded, and produced by Giulio Cesare Ricci
This album is part of a recording project that Giulio Cesare Ricci has been developing for several years in the ancient cellar of the Palazzo di Scoto di Semifonte in Certaldo Alto (Florence). To enhance the fascinating acoustics of this venue, he used the Signoricci analog and tube recording system, "no editing. All the tracks are heard as they were performed." The musical program is highly original, with the sounds of the two instruments—tenor and soprano saxophones, flute, and flute/guitar—perfectly blending with the acoustics of the venue and enhanced by the natural sound recordings made with Giulio Cesare Ricci's legendary Neumann microphones.
